Since when have you been writing?

The writer inside me may have been there since early childhood. I would write small poems and songs for my parents, family and friends but never thought of myself as a writer. The passion of writing grew with time, but due to academics I was unable to write regularly. Yet, from past two to three years, I have been trying to be more regular at writing whatever I feel in the form of poems, quotes and articles. Finally, in this lockdown and pandemic period I am trying to explore more of the writer in me and at present working on my own compilation “Savage Society”, a book which raises a voice against various social issue devouring our lives.

A craftsman of words

Your favorite author(s) and book(s)?

Like many other writers, I didn’t read a lot of books since I was more focusing on my academics. But still some of the books I managed to read are Paulo Coelho’s Alchemist, Chetan Bhagat’s Five points someone and 2 States, Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle, Harry Potter and Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Rabindranath Tagore’s Geetanjali and A brief history of Time by my idol Stephen Hawking.

“A Brief history of Time” is my all time favorite book.

Describe your journey as a writer

I still don’t consider myself as a writer. I just express my feelings – whatever emotions my heart experiences. Sometimes it touches others, sometimes it doesn’t. But I never think twice before writing anything and it is because I feel my writings are a part of my own development and no matter what others think I will keep on writing for my own…

Why should we read you?

If you a writer yourself then read me to know how other writers like myself think and express. And if you are just an enthusiastic reader then read me to relate yourself with life, because in my point of view we all are same with similar ups and downs in our lives that comes in different time periods of our life. But at the end we all can relate every point that I write from my experiences

Favorite genre to read / write

Anything that touches my heart and mind.

What should we expect from you as a writer in the near future?

  • “Truth of Life” always and forever.
  • “Dreams and Hope” that never dies.
  • “Unending Belief” that keeps everyone go on.
