If walls could talk,
they would tell you
what my room
has been made of.

They would tell you
about the scars hidden
in the depths of my mirror,
about the wave of my pain
that has washed over the floor,
about the carpet hiding the
cracks underneath,
about the shades of grey
they have been painted of,
and about my reflections
they have been holding for
so long.
