The prompt was inspired by this beautiful poem:

Here are the winning entries!

Vibhuti Bhandarkar never stops surprising us with her innovative take on most prompts! This was without a second thought a winner poem!
We loved this amazing use of words in Deepak Amembal’s take on the prompt
Pankhudi Pandey made us also want to know story behind that scar on his cheek!
Nilanjana Banerjee’s poetry is not just heart-touching but a visual treat too!
Jayashree Pisharody used the prompt not just in the last line but also in the first while relating the possibilities between those two lines within the verse!

These were our 5 winning entries! They not just followed the prompt but also took the time to read and follow all the participation guidelines!

But we had some more mention-worthy poems that caught out attention.

Here they are:

Amrita Mallik brought out a very familiar story with her poem!
Disha wove that first line with such piercing words!

Congratulations to all the winners and participants. We loved reading all the beautiful poetry.
