Peer Pressure

Isn’t it sad that the people we call our closest friends are the same ones we feel so much pressure around to look a certain way, do a certain thing or live a certain way?

Peer pressure is more suffocating than you can imagine, and it’s awful to see loads of people pretending to enjoy parties, entering toxic relationships, succumbing to drinking or smoking or starving themselves to get the perfect figure; all to gain acceptance from this harsh world.

Pause & take a look around you the next time you feel like you’re having trouble fitting in, & then decide whether the “friends” you’re trying to impress are actually worth it. Life is too short to be doing things you don’t even enjoy.
