High5! The great poetry hunt!

Yay! We are 5 months and 5 books old and our family of writers keeps growing. To celebrate the occasion, here’s our second poetry contest (after the first one we ran in December on Erotica)

Let’s High5!

Submit FIVE of your original and fresh poems using the participation link below and get published in our next beautiful book!

– SUBMISSION GUIDELINES –

  • Genre: Romance / Inspiration or anything Positive
  • Word count: Each of the FIVE poems should be of a minimum of 12 lines with every line more than 6 words
  • Author eligibility: Writers of age 15 and above, across the globe
  • All entries must be in English
  • Only original works that have not been published in print, digital or online publications will be considered
  • WriteFluence retains one-time exclusive publication right to the winning entries to be published in the High5 publication (i.e. You cannot publish the poems elsewhere during and after the contest if you’re one of the winning entries)
  • Submission fee: INR 99/-
  • Format: Submit your entry in Word / PDF format using the participation link at the bottom of this post. Do NOT send us email submissions!
  • Deadline: May 31, 2021

– RESULTS –

  • Results will be announced on June 10, 2021
  • 20 (or more, depends on if we like your work) winning poets will be published in a book to be released thereafter – All 20 writers will win a special author feature in the book and a merit certificate (virtual) from WriteFluence
  • Top 3 writers will receive:
    • 1 physical copy of the book
    • 1 merit certificate (virtual) from WriteFluence
  • Early bird prizes: A participation certificate (virtual) for the first 30 entries
    • The earlier you send your submission, the more time we have to read it at peace and calculate the scores

– OUR JURY –

Kaumudi Amrute’s writing workshops have received several amazing reviews from students of different age groups.
Amrute is a retired educationist and has spread her wings now with her initiative of her small cultural venture ‘Kalaa Kalpana’ where she conducts short term writing workshops for all age groups and also runs handicraft workshops with the help of her students.
When she’s not teaching, Amrute loves to knit, bake and conduct experiments in the kitchen.
Amrute lives in Wilmington with her husband and a dog; and loves reading Christina Rossetti, Sylvia Plath and Phillis Wheatley.
