Christmas comes once year
But not for some that we hold dear
So in memory of tradition we carry on
And spread the love and kindness
in the name of those gone
Family numbers dwindle around cheerful tables
so we seek those disabled, unabled
And we fill their cups with goodwill and cheer
And continue the spirit of giving in the new year
To see a smile , to walk the extra mile ,
to fill the tummy , with all treats yummy
Is compassion in its purest form, United as one

Christmas, Christmas’s coming, dear.
The stars are shining; the sky is clear.
Tired Mary has just laid down
in a stable near Bethlehem town.
In a stable, when the moon shone bright,
She gave birth to a boy, our delight.
Cold is night, the road was long.
God gives us hope. He made them strong.
There’s no cot and there’s no toy.
We’re still uplifted by great joy.
We know the baby boy, lying in hay
will save us all, there’ll come that day.

The starry wonder,
Drops the stardust of joy,
Sprinkling its hues on each one of us,
The mistletoe waits for the undying proclamation f love,
The children excitedly gather by the fireplace,
Waiting for their stockings to be filled with gifts of love,
Hot cocoa and cookies,
Sit waiting for the elves,
The joy of Christmas paints each
in shades of red, green and white!

The Christmas tree is a towering sight,
Adorned with ornaments, shining bright,
A symbol of hope, an enchanting sight ,
A reminder of love, on this special Xmas Eve night.
Spending time with family, making memories together,
Laughter round the tree are the moments to treasure,

Christmas season is here,
Santa On his sledge across the skies near.
Through the chimney in he comes,
Placing your gift underneath the tree, to next he runs.
A guiding star on the Christmas tree,
And the festive entrèe,
With it’s smell of cinnamon in the air,
And your loved one’s care,
What more could one want as we embrace new year in six,
Let’s not keep anything unfixed,
As we move towards a new beginning, opportunities and dare.
