It’s springtime for my words to bloom
These words that were hibernating
Refusing to move
Lying in wait passively
Avoiding winter’s frosty gaze
My words now dance joyously
Springtime has truly arrived
They tease me with their playfulness
Mimicking spring’s cheerful ways
So I do as they ask
I write them down
They flow slowly at first
Then they gush
Oh springtime you beauty
See what you’ve done?
My words, oh my words
They are finally here!!

It’s springtime for my words to bloom,
From ashes, into ashen caresses of the soul
Whispered from trembling lips into a lover’s ear,
Languid in the crumpling sheets of dawn and sense
Or the lyrical consonance of a shared smile,
Between a new mother and her whole world
Nestling in the crook of her arm
This spring the fallowed fields of youth
Sortie to change an unchangeable order,
Frothing with truculent arsenal of dissent
For an elegiac idea or an ideal
Take note of the breath between the two
Words on screens morph into wasps
Stinging the sentient into inflamed patrons
They assure you of their florescence.
These words with changeling flexure
But you know from an ancient warning.
Like a spell incantated into your bones,
They are more perilous than a sword.
If only they were as tender as the buds of spring
I would tend their seeds with venerated offerings.
Of unshed tears, unspent love, and unrealised dreams
But they are a brass lamp with a temperamental genie inside
And who knows what will happen if you let it free?

Its spring time for my words to bloom
Just like the new beginning to
Accept my flaws,
Ignore my triggers,
Embrace my glorious self!
To enliven my forgotten palette
With shades of mysterious hues
And indulge in being,
Spring forth to renew, share and connect.

LOVELY & LIVING LIFE
By Haimanti Dutta Ray
It’s springtime for my words to bloom
I rejoice as I revel in my merry gloom.
Time for spring means blooming flowers
Trees burst forth as Mother Nature empowers
Them, to add color to the landscape
We wonder at the miracle, sucking upon a grape.
I write, giving vent to emotions
That lie hidden under veneer of machinations
To appease my soul, something beyond ambit of lotions,
As readers, you’ll decipher my connotations.
Spring is the best time for both humans and plants
For its’ only then, that both engage in a heavenly dance –
It’s the season when God bestows his empathetic glance
He corrects Nature when the latter plays errant.
We empower our souls with words from the poet:
“If winter comes, can spring be far behind?”
This line of verse, entombs Life in noble epithet
Life becomes greener, full of joy of a healthier kind.

A Pessimist’s Spring
It’s springtime for my words to bloom,
Feelings flutter in my restless heart,
And thoughts take shape, elongate and loom,
Like skyscrapers tearing the sky apart.
I am a building, every memory a room,
That houses the flowers that fell into gloom.
Decay does not smell like death,
Which is pristine and and white and plain,
It has a stench of rotting filth,
And to the eye is a study in pain.
Watch the petals shrink and wither,
And drop heavily, gravity discovered.
See the stiffness after brief slither,
As the insides are slowly uncovered.
There’s no way out, no spring at all,
But cold foreboding of hastening fall.
And what is Pessimism to do,
As the heavy darkness gathers?
But bring into the gathering blue,
Long buried and forgotten fears?

My Rainbow Garden In Spring
– Anita Sabat
It’s springtime for my words to bloom;
As seeds germinate, my words discover room.
Words rise confidently while fixing magical roots,
Emerging from darkness to sun like new shoots.
A bold opportunity to make an impact & impression,
My creativity soars as my thoughts find expression.
Ideas translate effortlessly as my pen glides & I share-
Words like a kaleidoscope of love & beauty that’s rare.
Gifting inspiration, positivity, peace, goodness & bliss,
Hearty words mesmerise, uplift, protect & fulfil my wish.
In universe’s vast space, I lose a sense of time & place.
Spring is grace; like butterflies, to my dreams I chase!
Like a night sky with stars, my garden is cool & bright.
As I transition & metamorphose, there’s brilliance & light.
Words garden presents an experience beyond compare!
Decorated are my words; proud of richness everywhere!
My words are fruits & flowers; I treasure them like gold!
Words make my world; I own my rainbow & pot of gold!

Spring , the symbol of survival.
It’s springtime for my words to bloom,
As my soul wakes up from autumn’s gloom,
It’s springtime for my thoughts to rejuvenate,
As I came out of melancholy to contemplate.
It’s springtime for my eyes to behold,
As the misty night gives way to the colorful dawn,
It’s time for me to hear the melodious symphony,
When cacophonies of life turn into a mellifluous melody.
It’s springtime for my life to become vibrant,
As it has traveled through troubles and turmoil.
It’s time for me to think positive,
As I have passed through the tunnel of negativity.
It’s springtime for me to accept the law of nature,
Nothing is permanent except change.
It’s time for me to renew faith in the sustenance and revival
For , if winter comes , can spring be far behind?

Thrilling, trilling spring time feeling
by Bohumila OTTOVÁ
It’s spring time for my words to bloom
To shed the cold, to shed the gloom
To open heart and arms to love
To let in the warmth from above
It’s spring time for my words to fly
And dance like petals in the sky
Hope, grace, love, do you feel them all?
Take it in. Stand proud and tall.
It’s spring time for my words to dance
Filled with joy for a renewed chance
Your song’s light like a breeze’s touch
Oh I love spring, so very much!
It’s spring time for my words to grow
So close your eyes and take it slow
Feel the swing of a blade of grass
Breathe in life, as long as it lasts.

ETERNAL SPRING
– Anuraag Burman
It’s springtime for my words to bloom
And dance through this abyss of gloom
These never ending lies that loom
Working hard securing my doom
Till one fine day I will fume
When my illusions surpass me zoom
Hurling dust in my eyes Vroom Vroom
I’ll wake up don’t know for whom
This mystery of sorrow will resume
I’ll sort out life in my private room
Embrace death like a bride does a groom
I’d ride on it as a witch a broom
And Disappear with a silent boom
